PKL 2021-22: Raiders & Defenders
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is an annual professional kabaddi tournament held in India. This year’s edition of the tournament will feature twelve teams, each of which will have seven players in their squad. These players are divided into two categories – Raiders and Defenders. Raiders are the players who go on offense, while Defenders are the players who are tasked with stopping the Raiders from scoring points.

Yoddha, Patna Pirates, Bengaluru Bulls and Puneri Paltan. Each team has seven players in their squad, made up of four Raiders and three Defenders.
Who Are the Raiders?
Raiders are the players who go on offense, tasked with scoring points for their team. They are usually the fastest and most agile players in the team, and are adept at evading the Defenders and scoring points. They are also responsible for leading the team’s offense, and for inspiring their team-mates to perform at their best.
Who Are the Defenders?
Defenders are the players who are tasked with stopping the Raiders from scoring points. They are usually the strongest and most experienced players in the team, and are adept at tackling the Raiders and preventing them from scoring. They are also responsible for leading the team’s defense, and for inspiring their team-mates to perform at their best.
